The oldest Serbian daily newspaper „Politika“ has published an excellent text about Veljko Milkovic’s candidacy for the Nobel prize.
„When the news about the initiative for Veljko Milkovic’s nomination for the Nobel Prize in Physics was announced in Novi Sad, the name of this resident of Vojvodina from Lika wasn’t well known to many people, nor did they understand how a historian could gain a Nobel Prize in physics. The interest of the media has constantly been increasing since the initiative for academician Veljko Milkovic’s candidacy for the Nobel Prize in Physics was announced. On this occasion, PRVA TV has published a feature about academician Veljko Milkovic, in which is among other things also said:
“Prestigious foreign journals and institutes have on several occasions in recent years claimed that it is proven that he is the only man who has created the machine which produces more energy than it uses and all that is done by implementing oscillations.”
Veljko Milkovic’s versatility and multidisciplinarity is constantly attracting attention. RTV has published an interesting interview with academician Veljko Milkovic in the TV program “Green hour”. In this interview Milkovic talks about forests and forest fruit as indefinite food sources for people and animals.
He also suggests returning to the project “Forests for food production” and explains that people have completely neglected some kinds of food that can be used in nutrition.
An event devoted to the inventor Veljko Milkovic and his research work was organized at the initiative of ARS Academy from Novi Sad on August 27th 2014. On this occasion the initiative for Veljko Milkovic’s candidacy for the Nobel Prize was presented in public.
Aside from the group of intellectuals- creators of this initiative, the city of Novi has also supported the suggestion that the academician Veljko Milkovic should be a candidate for the most important prize in the world of science.
Academician Veljko Milkovic is also well known as the biggest connoisseur of the Petrovaradin fortress, a prominent historical monument on the banks of the river Danube in Novi Sad. RTS has welcomed academician Veljko Milkovic in its TV program “The place I care for” and prepared a feature about the Petrovaradin fortress.
In this program academician Milkovic talks about his exploration of the underground tunnels of the fortress, his inventions, but also about the conceptual projects to which he plans to give his contribution. These projects would help in using the potentials that the fortress has with the aim of revival of the cultural tourism not only in Novi Sad and Vojvodina, but also in the entire Republic of Serbia.
